4 Tips to Turn Failure into Motivation

What keeps you going when you fail again and again?

I think for me it’s hope, hope for myself, that I’ll learn the lesson; hope for finding the right next step and a better outcome; hope for humanity and the world to find a more conscious, healing path.

Here are 4 tips to use failure to your advantage.

1. Listen to yourself (your inner super hero, not your inner critic).

Listen to your inner voice and inner drive. What is it urging you to do? What brings you meaning, what gives you satisfaction, what lights you up?

2. Remember your inspiration.

Where does your drive come from? Was it someone in your life who inspired you? Was it an event or experience? Is it an inner knowledge? Remember, honor, nurture that motivation. That is your muse, your purpose, your soul’s work.

3. Never give up.

I believe we’re here for a reason. To bring something to the world.  It’s different for everyone, and only you know what it is for you. And if you don’t find a way to express it, we all lose that gift. So don’t give up, we need you!

4. Have fun.

In the meantime, don’t be too serious. Yes, finding our purpose is serious work, but without a break, without some fun, you can drive yourself into the ground with too much intensity. Find a way to lighten up!

I leave you with one of my favorite songs, Try Everything:
